Could Your Daughters Drag Be Her Red Flag?

ree

I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving and were able to slow down, recharge, and enjoy time together. As we move into the remainder of the year — and especially into the off-season — I want to bring attention to something that could be holding your pitcher back more than you realize.

Could your drag be your red flag?

For many pitchers, drag isn’t “just part of their mechanics. "It’s a symptom — and often a warning sign.

A red flag that your pitcher may be struggling with:

  • Poor posture

  • Little to no front-side resistance

  • Lack of speed

  • Inconsistent results

  • And more than anything… a lack of confidence

Drag shows up when the body is compensating. And when the body compensates, performance suffers — pitch after pitch.

Before you scroll any further, watch this quick video where I break down drag, what it really means, and how it affects your pitcher’s long-term development.

Why this matters right now

For seasoned pitchers--We are officially in the off-season — the most underrated yet most important window for pitchers to train.

Because here’s the truth:

Especially in the off-season… what a time to train.

This is the window where real growth happens — when the lights are off, the stands are empty, and the work your daughter puts in now becomes the pitcher everyone notices later.

This is where mechanics get rebuilt, confidence rises, and speed finally catches up.

Ready to fix the drag and build a stronger, more confident pitcher?

Enrollment for the KVS Mentorship Program is NOW OPEN, but spots will not stay open for long and they are filling up!
